Julie Livingston

Julie has 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in mental health and school settings. Julie is passionate about providing support, encouragement and direction in a therapeutic setting that is engaging and comfortable. Julie utilizes a variety of techniques to help children, families, and adults cope with challenges such as loss and grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship and parenting issues, ADHD, autism, school problems, and behavioral issues.
As a Certified Play Therapist, Julie uses directive and non-directive play therapy approaches, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), attachment-based and trauma-focused approaches.
Julie is also skilled in working with couples and providing court involved therapies including family reintegration therapy, co-parenting therapy and working with children whose parents are involved in high-conflict divorces or custody disputes.
