Katie Wolter
LPC, NCC
Katie works with individuals, couples, and families facing a range of challenges, including relationship issues, emotional struggles, behavioral concerns, and trauma. Katie’s goal is to support her clients in understanding that even our most difficult thoughts, behaviors, and emotions often arise as ways to protect or help us. With curiosity and empathy, she invites clients to explore these parts of themselves, fostering deeper self-understanding and healing.
Katie embraces a humanistic approach to counseling, rooted in the belief that people are inherently good and capable of growth. She places the therapeutic relationship at the heart of her work, believing that a strong, trusting connection between therapist and client is essential for effective therapy. Katie also integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment theory, and strength-based approaches into her practice. She is certified in SYMBIS, a practical premarital assessment tool.
Katie is committed to cultivating a collaborative & honest space as she empowers her clients to take an active role in their healing journey.”
