Our Therapists
Leslie Berger
LCPC, NCC
Leslie has experience working with a variety of clients, from those dealing with severe trauma to those struggling with anxiety and depression. During her time as a high school counselor, Leslie worked with students to manage the daily stresses of school including relationship conflicts and academic pressures. Leslie has also worked at a residential facility as an Intensive Outpatient therapist, where she ran groups for children, pre-teen, and teenagers. These groups focused on teaching clients how to increase their healthy coping strategies. She also led parent psycho-educational groups using attachment theory strategies.
Prior to becoming a therapist, Leslie was a college basketball coach for ten years. She was passionate about supporting her athletes beyond the court and decided that counseling was the path to helping more than just athletes. Leslie is committed to providing a warm and empathic space for her clients to explore their thoughts and emotions. She utilizes solution focused therapy and mindfulness skill building to empower individuals to manage life’s stressors.
